Excited!!!

Ok, the day has arrived and I am very excited..........it is my birthday on friday and I decided to treat myself to a lovely new dress.  I have had my eye on several dresses from The Pretty Dress Company for some time now and the other day I decided to go and have another mooch around their website I discovered an almost 50% sale, well this was too good to be true so I browsed and browsed and found three gorgeous dresses that I knew I would struggle not to have in my life and after checking sizes it was narrowed down to 1 delightful dress....hubby also found a discount voucher online so this bought the price right down.....credit card at the ready and it was done, then all I had to do was sit tight and wait for the parcel to arrive.......and today it has arrived the box is in my hands as we speak, but I will wait until later as I need to try it without make up, deodorant or perfume on , just in case I have to return it......do you want to have a sneak peak? do you? do you?  just a little one?  ok then, here goes.......

 GOOD NEWS........it fits.....yippeeeeeeeee xxx



Recently.....

Hello lovelies

I thought I would start you off with a few cakes to whet your appetite!!

During the Easter holidays we had a few day trips out...including RHS Wisley in Surrey, it is an amazing garden and hot house.  The day we arrived it was lovely and sunny, albeit a bit windy and chilly in the shade, but, we didn't care as we arrived picnics at the ready.  As we were meandering around we also discovered that they were holding a tulip festival and the displays were no less than stunning.....I can't tell you the names but I'll share some of my favourites, the little petals shimmering in the breeze and the glorious colours...made me realise why my crochet always works better for me if it is bright and cheerful, just like the flower display ;o)
Little J and A had a fab time, lots of open space to play and run around, outdoor woodland playground and a couple of very willing grown ups to join in the fun, an easter egg hunt and a big pot of ice cream and mini egg tiffin to round off the trip..in fact, what was there not to like??

Easter hols.......over!

Gosh, I can't believe the hols are over.....what a great break we had..a proper blog with photos will follow soon!!

A couple of trips to London, days out, crafts, crochet, cakes and coffee.....so much fun.

If you have rain where you are I think it might be my fault....I bought new garden furniture yesterday!!!

At last...................

So, here we are at last with photos!!

My spring bulbs on my little outside coffee table......

My lovely bright striped ripple, I am so pleased I finally got the hang of this pattern, it is so relaxing. There will definitely be more to come :) I'm not sure my friend's baby will sleep it is so bright!!

I am a bit addicted to working out and this little pile is how I do it....they really work for me and the trainers make a workout great fun, honest!! Give them a whirl, I know you will like them....

Sometimes I take some time out with just one of my little ones, this time it was little J and he chose the playground followed by the cafe and then a ride home on the bus, so after an age of swinging, sliding, climbing and running, we settled ourselves in the cafe for a spot of refuelling and crafting....

We also managed a nice cheeky family lunch out...where super pictures were created and crispy pizza eaten...

Now we are halfway through the first week of the holidays and a rhythm has been settled into, mostly relaxed, spur of the moment bits, with a few planned necessities!! Easter baskets have been made, crochet has been almost completed and coffee is being drunk.....so, enjoy your break and I'll be back soon.

Nearly there.......

I am almost back on my computer....who would of thought a new broadband hub would of caused so much trouble!!! Not a good mix with my very out of date technology ;)

We officially have spring and some days are glorious, unfortunately we have really high pollution levels at present too.

I've been busy crocheting away, cake designing, drinking coffee, playing with my children and even spent a couple of hours out with my hubby!! I'm now stocking up on ideas for the fast approaching Easter hols. Both my kids are quite happy to craft, go to the playground and stop off for a tea and biccie, so some pretty relaxing days to look forward to....I hope!!
